Job summary

UKG seeks a seasoned Principal Software Development Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Finance solutions. You will partner with Finance stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable ERP programs that support global transformation.

The role requires 10+ years in Finance technology, SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365 experience, and strong data management capabilities. Travel and leadership across regions may be involved.

Qualifications

• 10+ years delivering enterprise Finance technology solutions and ERP transformations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes, ERP architecture, and data management.
• Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, and QA for large ERP programs.
• Collaborates with Finance, Product, Architecture, and Engineering to drive outcomes.
• Advanced degree; MBA or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance solutions across core processes (R2R, O2C, GL, AR, Asset Accounting).
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical specs for ERP ecosystems.
• Partner with global teams to ensure architecture fits finance transformation goals.
• Drive data migration, validation, cutover, and go-live readiness.
• Shape AI-enabled automation opportunities within ERP integrations.
