Job summary

UKG is seeking a seasoned Principal Software Development Engineer to lead enterprise Finance solutions across global ERP platforms. You will partner with Finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Finance processes, including R2R, O2C, GL, and tax.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled automation, data governance, and strong program leadership. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in enterprise Finance tech, hands-on SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365 experience,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience delivering enterprise Finance technology solutions and transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Finance processes, ERP architecture, system integrations, and financial data management.
Experience leading data migration, reconciliation, testing, and QA for large ERP programs.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of end-to-end Finance solutions across core processes (R2R, O2C, GL, AR, Tax).
Partner with Finance stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions.
Provide functional leadership through design reviews, harmonization, and transformation programs.
Translate Finance requirements into functional, technical, integration, and data specs.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and external teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
Lead data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities for global ERP programs.
Drive end-to-end testing, SIT/UAT governance, go-live readiness, and post-production stabilization.
Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities across Finance processes.
