Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Principal Field Service Engineer to support Biosense Webster products across the U.S. West region.

This field-based role demands deep clinical and technical knowledge, travel up to 60%, and strong customer collaboration to install, repair, and maintain systems. You will lead service activities, train staff, and drive customer satisfaction while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cardiovascular solutions.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in field service or hospital environment preferred.
• Excellent communication with clinicians and biomed engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service for Biosense Webster products across assigned region.
• Install, repair and upgrade equipment in clinical settings.
• Schedule and manage service activities with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain service records and preventative maintenance logs.
• Respond to urgent service requests and diagnose root causes.
• Train customers and junior staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
