Forcepoint is seeking a Field & Channel Marketing Manager to drive demand across the Central Region of North America. This critical role includes the planning and execution of all demand generation activities in the region leveraging events and Channel MDF.

The Field Marketing role is at the forefront of communicating our message through different marketing tactics as well as crafting the strategies and execution plans to attract new customers and retain existing customers. In this position, the candidate will run field marketing events and work closely with the Channel Team to drive partner demand generation activities in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and executing a lead generation-driven field marketing strategy primarily focused on events (proprietary and 3rd party).
  2. Researching and assessing relevant industry and technology events for the sales and marketing teams that meet our event sponsorship requirements.
  3. Work with the Channel Sales organization to develop and execute through Channel demand generation programs in alignment with the Channel growth strategy, leveraging MDF.
  4. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to execute all events including development of creative assets, demo productions, material, and team logistics.
  5. Be the main point person for all regional events coordination and assessment.
  6. Identify opportunities to engage existing customers and attract and engage prospects.
  7. Accountable for tracking budget, ROI, and number of MQLs of each event by collaborating with sales and marketing leadership.
  8. Responsible for managing the onsite logistics for facilitating the event, providing social support during regular non-event periods, and managing the settlement of online/offline marketing support with third-party vendors.
  9. Actively participating in research, designing, development, and coordination of organizational events and meetings.
  10. End-to-end Management of field marketing projects from planning as per the client's requirements and building a plan of action to estimating the overall budget.
  11. Responsible for both lead acquisition and lead nurturing campaigns, and other campaigns in regional campaign creation.
  12. Closely working with the sales and marketing team, product marketing team, and regional campaign team for evaluating the total impact of marketing events.

Requirements:

  1. 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, experience in the marketing technology sector is preferred.
  2. Hands-on and familiar with field marketing planning and execution.
  3. Equally comfortable working cross-functionally and independently.
  4. Digital native that is up to date with current digital marketing trends and technology, with the ability to adapt to using different tools.
  5. Previous experience with inbound marketing and sales software such as HubSpot & Salesforce.
  6. Channel Marketing experience.
  7. Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  8. Demonstrated track record in field marketing.
  9. Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  10. Strong organizational skills with emphasis on time management.
  11. Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
  12. Ability to work independently or in groups.
  13. Self-motivated with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in various tasking situations.
  14. Strong analytical skills with focus towards details.
  15. Ability to handle pressure and work in a constantly changing atmosphere.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
  2. 2+ years’ experience in IT business-to-business marketing – preferably in the field of cyber security.
  3. Experience in event planning, management, and support.
  4. Experience working in an organization with a two-tier channel sales model.
  5. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Outreach, HubSpot, and Asana preferred.
  6. Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills for a variety of audiences.
