Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for EO/IR or RF signal processing in Tucson, AZ. You will design and prototype signal processing algorithms, validate sensor data, and integrate algorithms with hardware across development phases.

Onsite role with opportunities to mentor teammates and influence mission-critical programs. The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, or Acoustic domains is preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java or related OO languages.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototype, integrate and test signal processing algorithms and models.
• Use simulations to evaluate algorithms and hardware integration.
• Collaborate in lab environments to validate sensor model performance.
• Mentor team members and participate in technical reviews.
