Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead data center projects, coordinating engineers, designers, and subcontractors across locations.

You will shape proposals, manage schedules, and oversee budgets while ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with travel up to 15% and the ability to operate across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 8 years experience in engineering consulting, project manager or data center
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager or engineer with data center experience
• PMP certification preferred
• The ideal candidate has worked with a hyperscale data center directly or indirectly as a consultant
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
• Knowledge in earned value management and progress reporting
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
• Strong coordination and team building skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills
• Ability to read and write technically and coherently
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel between 10%-15% of the time which may include fieldwork; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs

Responsibilities

• Lead projects by collaborating with technical colleagues to develop detailed engineering proposals, manage schedules, and execute recovery plans when needed
• Oversee client and team relations, ensuring professional service and positive relationships
• Develop work plans, risk management, and communication plans for smooth project execution
• Manage project schedules and financial health, including tracking performance
