Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the architectural vision across our engineering organization, guiding several squads and ensuring scalable, compliant platforms for digital pharmacy and care delivery.

You will mentor engineers, drive standards, and collaborate with Product, Pharmacy Operations, and InfoSec to meet business goals while improving performance and reliability across AWS and PostgreSQL environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering and systems design.
• 3+ years operating at Staff/Principal level across multiple teams.
• Extensive background in building distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems.

Responsibilities

• Architectural vision and strategy for core platforms; drive technical roadmaps.
• Lead design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and logistics.
• Mentor staff and foster rigorous design reviews and best practices.
• Establish engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations.
• Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliant architectures.
• Drive performance, reliability, and database efficiency in AWS/PostgreSQL stack.
• Evaluate new tools and run POCs to improve the FuzeRx ecosystem.
