Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architecture and engineering standards for our digital pharmacy platforms. Working on the Platform Team, you will enhance developer productivity, system stability, and security across API-driven services.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product, Pharmacy Operations and Engineering Managers, and design scalable systems compliant with HIPAA/SOC2.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering, with 2+ years as Tech Lead/Architect.
• Design scalable API-led platforms.
• Experience with LLM-enabled applications and observability tools.
• Strong SQL and data modeling.
• Cloud native infra: Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for B2B and consumer platforms.
• Lead clean, maintainable code and establish engineering standards.
• Own reliability and performance of core platforms on AWS.
• Mentor engineers across multiple squads on complex problems.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Operations to align tech with business goals.
• Ensure privacy by design and HIPAA/SOC2 compliance across systems.
• Evaluate new technologies and run POCs to derisk initiatives.
