Job summary
Fuze Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architectural evolution for our digital pharmacy platforms on the Platform Team. You will shape microservices, API design, and data pipelines to boost developer productivity and system stability.
You will mentor engineers across squads, optimize AWS-based infrastructure, and ensure HIPAA-compliant, secure systems while collaborating with Product, Pharmacy Operations, and Engineering Managers.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years as Tech Lead/Architect/Staff Engineer.
- Experience designing and scaling API-led platforms and distributed systems.
- AI fluency with LLM-enabled applications and orchestration/evaluation tools.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for B2B and consumer platforms.
- Lead by example in writing maintainable, high-quality code and enforcing engineering standards.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and secure handling of healthcare data (HIPAA compliant).
- Mentor engineers across multiple squads and partner with product, design, and operations teams.
