Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for a 100% on-site role. The position requires an active U.S.

government security clearance and a strong background in electrical engineering design and test systems. You will join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate, contributing to multidisciplinary teams, developing test solutions, and managing technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon products within TEE in multidiscipline engineering teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects.
• Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
