Job summary
Reworld Waste is seeking a Principal Engineer (Electrical) to lead electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades from our Florham Park, NJ headquarters. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and ensuring adherence to design standards with significant cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and PE licensure or pursuit thereof.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and approve electrical system designs including One Line/Three Line Diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection schemes.
- Coordinate with electrical AE firms, suppliers, and contractors to execute projects within budget and schedule.
- Lead engineering standards and act as SME for Reworld Electrical Team, updating standards as needed.
- Provide troubleshooting support and root-cause analysis for electrical issues across facilities.
