Job summary

Prattwhitney in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware for the production floor. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.

The position operates on a 3rd shift (11pm–8am) with limited travel (<10% annually) and relocation eligibility. You will drive program execution across cost, schedule, and technical oversight, collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering, and provide detailed technical reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis.
• Preferred: Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB; familiarity with missile subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Drive program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight, direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, and preparation of detailed technical team reports.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve production, testing, and integration issues.
• Oversee design activities for CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sub-systems; apply troubleshooting and design optimization.
