Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware to lead program execution across the product lifecycle, overseeing cost, schedule and technical oversight on airborne electrical hardware. This on-site role supports collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure production readiness.

You will drive design, testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical systems, requiring a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field required.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
• Experience leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
• Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
• Shift Information: 3rd shift (11pm - 8am)
