Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades. You will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and supervise multi-disciplinary teams, driving standardization and engineering excellence.

Preferred location Florham Park, NJ with remote option and ~20% travel; involvement with global sites and domestic travel; competitive pay in USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution in large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and review electrical system designs for capital projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on design tasks.
• Plan tasks to meet budget and schedule constraints.
• Serve as SME and mentor for electrical design standards.
• Provide design support for commissioning and startup.
