Job summary

SBA Communications Corporation seeks a Principal Business Development, Edge Infra Solutions to lead the development and lifecycle of edge data center offerings. Translate market needs into a robust product roadmap and work cross-functionally to bring solutions to market.

You will define strategy, collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing, and drive go-to-market plans while managing lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with strong background in infrastructure, cloud, fiber infrastructure or data center solutions.
• Deep understanding of edge computing, data center, fiber infrastructure, and networking; experience with distributed computing is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy for edge data center solutions including market research and roadmap.
• Be the expert on customers and market; conduct interviews, gather feedback, analyze trends to inform requirements.
• Write clear PRDs and use cases; collaborate with asset development, NOC, engineering, marketing for defined solutions.
• Qualify vendors and indirect sales channels; explore partnerships with Calix, Nokia, NCTC, etc.
