Collins Aerospace seeks a Principal Software Engineer specializing in DevSecOps to strengthen our AST team in San Jose, CA, onsite. You will drive security-focused software delivery, manage CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers across the DevSecOps ecosystem. This role requires TS/SCI with poly, U.S.

citizenship, and a passion for cutting-edge solutions in SIGINT and aerospace. You will collaborate with multiple Raytheon/RTX groups to deliver resilient, secure software in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing and/or supporting enterprise applications such as Jira/Confluence; Gitlab; CloudBees CI (Jenkins); Artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus Repository, Pulp)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, Linux system administration and virtualization technologies

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise DevSecOps applications.
• Manage and drive DevSecOps tooling, workflows, and process improvements.
• Coach, mentor, and enable engineering teams to adopt AST’s DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering leadership across Raytheon and Collins Aerospace.
• Travel up to 25% domestically
