Applied Signal Technology (AST) seeks a Principal Software Engineer with DevSecOps focus to strengthen national security through robust development, security, and operations practices. This on-site role is based in San José, CA, working with RTX/Collins Aerospace teams.

The ideal candidate will lead CI/CD pipelines, manage enterprise DevSecOps tooling, mentor engineers, and ensure secure software supply chain practices. US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required; relocation offered.

Formación

• STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing enterprise apps: Jira/Confluence, GitLab, CloudBees CI, artifact repos.
• CI/CD pipelines development and security tooling expertise.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Bash; Linux system administration on RHEL-family.
• KVM/VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with RTX/Collins teams to align AST DevSecOps across the org.
• Drive and manage AST’s DevSecOps environment, tooling, and workflows.
• Mentor engineers to adopt AST’s DevSecOps practices.
• Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, and integrations of tooling.
• Provide project onboarding, support, and best-practices documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering leadership; travel up to 25%.
