Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - DevOps / Infrastructure for our Sterling, VA site. This onsite role focuses on automating deployment pipelines and maintaining CI/CD for simulation and training software in a lab environment.

You will own the CI/CD pipeline, streamline build and test processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure software in a government-grade setting. U.S. citizen with security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Coverity, Nexus, Artifactory and Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop automation solutions to build and deploy code efficiently.
• Own the program’s CI/CD pipeline and optimize integration and delivery.
• Troubleshoot build chain and CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Identify processes to automate with recommendations for strategy and improvements.
• Consider the entire CI/CD infrastructure when making changes.
