Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks Principal/Sr. Principal Design Engineer to join the Infrastructure Design Team in Utah. You will support design, modeling, and integration for Sentinel facility releases, coordinating with stakeholders and reviewing standards across civil/structural, mechanical, and electrical domains.

The role requires clearance eligibility and experience with MILCON or major infrastructure projects. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or electrical design on MILCON or major infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of AISC/ACI/IBC/UFC/MIL-STD codes and standards.
• Experience with engineering deliverables such as drawings and construction specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility design artifact releases with stakeholders for Sentinel infrastructure and facilities.
• Interpret and verify industry standards, guidelines, and codes for project deliverables.
• Participate in project design/model reviews and review subcontractors' design products for quality and compliance.
• Support the delivery of Construction Drawings, Specifications, TDPs, IFC packages, and related design artifacts.
• Develop and present design change requests; maintain configuration control of the technical baseline.
