CVS Health is seeking a Principal Engineer, Data Platforms to own the architecture and evolution of our Unified Ingestion Platform and Federated Data Lake. You will lead the multi-cloud data platform strategy, ensuring observability, security, and scalable ingestion across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

You will mentor teams, drive IaC/CI/CD adoption, and align standards with OTEL/OCSF while delivering high-impact platform modernization for enterprise telemetry data.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise data platforms.
• 8+ years on Databricks with Unity Catalog & governance.
• 7+ years designing multi-cloud architecture across Azure/AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define and own architecture, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for data platform.
• Scale ingestion/processing for 250+ TB per day across logs, metrics, traces, security events.
• Lead enterprise security, governance, observability, and reliability practices.
