Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Principal, Data Center Development to own end‑to‑end data center development from site control to day‑one operations. You will manage diligence, budgeting, risk, and readiness gating for self‑development and JV projects, ensuring de‑risked commitments before approval.

This hands‑on role bridges site selection, power, sustainability, legal, finance, and construction to deliver development‑ready projects at scale. Travel up to 25–30% is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data center, industrial, or infrastructure development and/or construction.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Development lifecycle from site selection through turnover to Operations.
• Lead development readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions to leadership.
• Build, own, and manage the integrated development budget with internal teams and partners.
• Coordinate power, sustainability, and infrastructure for development cost and schedule.
• Serve as the interface to multiple internal teams (Legal, Finance, Design, Construction).
• Own development handoff standards and ensure de-risked projects enter operations.
