Job summary

Raytheon’s Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) team in Tucson is seeking an expert controls systems engineer to support development, build, and verification of control actuation systems. You will contribute to flight actuation architectures, advance control laws, and perform hardware test design and verification across simulations and flight tests.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in air vehicle actuation control design, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded systems, with a track record

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• 8+ years in air vehicle or missile flight actuation control design/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls engineering support across program needs.
• Develop flight actuation control architectures and implement advanced control laws.
• Design and execute hardware test plans to verify performance against requirements.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision; participate in ICPs.
