Job summary

Raytheon seeks an expert mechanical engineer for the Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) to support development, build, and verification of control actuation systems. You will contribute to detailed mechanical design, hardware builds, and testing within the PCAS team, with opportunities for accelerated growth.

The candidate should have extensive experience in mechanical design, GD&T, and hands-on lab work, and may staff in Huntsville, AL or Tucson, AZ. Clearances are required for the role.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design

Responsibilities

Work autonomously within the control mechanism development domain and influence organizational strategies
Engage in lab activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, tuning and verification
Collaborate with subject matter experts and participate in accelerated technical growth
