Raytheon Technologies seeks an expert controls systems engineer to join the Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) team. You will develop, build, and verify flight actuation control systems for missile programs at Tucson, AZ or Huntsville, AL, working on high-fidelity models and advanced control laws.

The role requires prior air vehicle actuation experience, ability to work autonomously, and clear communication with senior leadership. Security clearance is required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with several years of flight actuation experience.
• Experience in air vehicle or missile actuation control design and/or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls engineering support across programs, including actuation system architectures and control laws.
• Develop test plans and verify performance against requirements.
• Work autonomously with periodic oversight and collaborate with IPTs.
