Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Cloud Engineering Principal to lead enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and governance. You will guide modernization across cloud, identity, and platform engineering, mentoring engineers and driving secure, cost-effective service delivery.

You will partner with security and data teams to enable scalable, resilient solutions, establishing standards for automation, observability, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of relevant infrastructure, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or platform administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity governance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Support: Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation up to 50% of the year and act as a first responder to incidents affecting cloud platforms.
• Serve as escalation point for Tier 2/3 cloud and infrastructure support and lead major incident resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud platforms, services, and standards.

This role establishes technical strategy, architecture standards, governance practices, and engineering best practices that enable secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technology services.
