Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Principal Engineer – Civil in the United States to lead civil engineering for renewable energy infrastructure. The role involves directing design, grading, drainage, SWPPP, and regulatory compliance across solar, wind, and storage projects.

You will mentor teams, review deliverables, and guide projects from permitting through construction support, aiming for high-quality, data-driven solutions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active PE license required.
• At least 12 years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Engage with clients to communicate recommendations and manage expectations.
• Develop compliant, technically sound design solutions respecting permits and standards.
• Review and seal drawings and reports as authorized.
• Mentor engineers and junior designers to uphold quality and standards.
• Provide construction support and address field challenges.
