Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer – SW CI/CD Engr (26-425) to drive standardized CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and secure software delivery for the RA ART across two sites. This on-site role requires a Secret clearance and travel up to 10%.

The candidate should have a BS or MS in a related field with DevOps experience in classified environments, strong Linux, scripting, and toolchain skills (Git, Nexus,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Active Government-Issued 8140 certification and Secret security clearance required.
Experience implementing CI/CD in classified environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain standardized CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams.
Integrate DevSecOps tools (Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) for automated workflows.
Develop Linux shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate provisioning and deployments.
Collaborate with system admins, IT, and security to improve pipeline reliability.
Present status updates on pipeline health and risks to RA leadership.
