Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL, is seeking multiple Software Engineers and Principal Software Engineers to join the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit. You will support the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) in an Agile, CD-driven environment, coordinating with software, systems, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.
The role emphasizes building secure, scalable pipelines, and contributing to continuous improvement across development environments, with a focus on collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree in STEM field and 0 years of experience.
- Active Secret Clearance; DoD/IC environment experience preferred.
- Strong CI/CD experience and Linux-based development.
Responsibilities
- Support Agile development environment and CD pipeline for multiple baselines.
- Collaborate with software, DevOps, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to plan, integrate, and improve end‑to‑end delivery workflows.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders about issues, options, and impacts.
- Apply problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations with changing requirements and constraints.
- Drive coordination across teams to align on priorities and commitments and ensure delivery.
