Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Huntsville, AL seeks a Principal Software Engineer – SW CI/CD Engr to drive standardized CI/CD pipelines across RA ART. The role emphasizes automation, security, and collaboration with multiple product teams and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• 8140 certification at IAT II or higher required before start
• Active Secret clearance required to start and maintain

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for RA ART teams.
• Collaborate with Cyber and Platforms ARTs on security, compliance, and performance requirements.
• Integrate and manage core DevSecOps tools (Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) in classified environments.
• Develop Linux shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate CI/CD provisioning and deployment.
• Administer SE-Linux and Red Hat repositories to enable secure builds and deployments.
• Provide regular status updates on pipeline health and tool performance to RA leadership.
• Support Agile practices within the RA ART and drive continuous improvement.
