About the Role:
The Principal Brand Manager - Team Lead, Amazon, is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing Amazon client engagements and managing a team of Brand Managers. This role is accountable for developing and executing growth strategies, ensuring a best-in-class Amazon brand experience, and driving measurable results for clients. You will act as the strategic lead for a portfolio of high-value accounts, providing direction, mentorship, and expert guidance to your team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Brand Managers and Associates, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure professional growth within the team.
- Delegate and oversee account responsibilities, ensuring accountability for both team and individual performance.
Amazon Brand Experience
- Serve as the strategic lead for a portfolio of high-value Amazon client accounts, with deep expertise in Seller and/or Vendor Central.
- Shape and communicate each brand’s story, mission, and values through enhanced Brand Story sections, A+ Content, and Storefronts to build trust and differentiation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Click-Through Rate (CTR) and Conversion Rate (CVR), including:
- Optimizing product titles, bullet points, and descriptions for SEO and relevance.
- Enhancing hero and catalog images, and leveraging video content to drive engagement.
- Executing pricing and promotions strategies based on competitive and market analysis.
- Utilizing A+ Content and Brand Story features to maximize visual appeal and brand narrative.
- Monitoring and improving reviews and ratings, ensuring compliance and content accuracy.
- Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies, leveraging proprietary data and tools for real-time insights.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of Amazon Advertising, including:
- ACOS optimization and bid management.
- Campaign creation and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and Amazon DSP for advanced targeting and measurement.
Client Strategy & Engagement
- Develop and implement structured client engagement strategies to attract, retain, and grow client relationships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.
- Personalize communication and deliver value-driven interactions at every stage of the client journey, using data-driven insights to tailor strategies and recommendations.
- Conduct regular business reviews, share actionable insights, and provide transparent updates on progress, milestones, and results to build trust and foster long-term loyalty.
- Proactively solicit and act on client feedback to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Use analytics to monitor engagement and performance metrics, refining strategies to maximize client retention and advocacy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and Eva’s vertical teams (SEO, PPC, Creative, Operations, Analytics).
- Clearly articulate client needs, priorities, and strategic direction to internal teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United States.
- 5+ years of Amazon Brand Management experience, with deep expertise in Seller and/or Vendor Central.
- 2+ years of agency experience, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple clients and shift priorities effectively.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and eCommerce reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Walmart, Target, Shopify, and TikTok operations is a plus.
