Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Principal Analog Design Engineer to lead the design, integration, and delivery of high‑performance analog/mixed-signal IPs for HBM products. You will own critical analog circuits, drive IP interfaces, and ensure layout quality and performance.

The role requires 10–15+ years in analog ICs, deep CMOS/process knowledge, and strong problem‑solving skills. You will collaborate with analog, digital, system, packaging and test teams to deliver

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
~10–15+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC experience.
Proven expertise in high-speed interface design.
Deep understanding of CMOS processes, noise, jitter, SI/PI and cross-domain coupling.

Responsibilities

Lead design of HBM analog circuits including high‑speed transmitters and receivers.
Define IP interfaces, power domains, clocking schemes, and reset strategies.
Perform pre-layout and post-layout simulations; analyze PVT, Monte Carlo, aging.
Review analog layouts with layout team; ensure EM/IR compliance.
Drive layout-aware build optimizations and analog documentation reuse.
Collaborate across analog, digital, system, packaging and test teams.
