Job summary

You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, driving adoption of Citi's AI capabilities and mentoring future experts.

You will guide architecture, collaborate with agile teams, and champion engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality software at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineering leader with ability to leverage AI coding agents effectively.
• Strong focus on delivering consumer-delighting, technically sound solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply depth of knowledge to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and partner with stakeholders.
• Develop and engineer solutions within multiple agile teams to deliver sprint goals, write code, and contribute to Citi's technical community.
• Implement critical features and complex technical solutions; write clean, maintainable code meeting high standards.
• Collaborate with other Principal Engineers to define and evolve system architecture and design.
• Provide guidance on scalable, robust solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Offer engineering guidance to multiple teams, helping them overcome challenges and deliver high-quality software.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.
