Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking a senior AI/ML engineering leader to shape and deliver large-scale AI initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders, design rapid prototypes, and guide engineering teams to production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years across software engineering, solution architecture, AI/ML, data engineering, or related fields, incl. Forward Deployed Engineer
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, ML concepts, NLP, and data modeling
• Ability to translate business challenges into technical requirements and solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for non-technical audiences
• Proactive analytical mindset with track record of delivering innovative solutions

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze processes, pain points, and AI opportunities
• Design and prototype AI-powered solutions, including POCs and MVPs
• Bridge communication gaps between business users and engineering teams
• Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and best practices in ML and NLP
• Define KPIs to measure ROI of AI initiatives
• Create documentation and train business users for adoption
