Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG seeks a Head of Group Wide AI First Engineering to redefine how Citi builds products with AI at the core. You will lead the unified AI organization, re-architect the PDLC, and ensure AI-driven workflows span requirements through deployment across the firm's product stack.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering leadership, deep DevEx expertise, and strong collaboration with security and controls teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in large, engineering-driven orgs.
• Experience owning developer experience, developer platforms, or engineering productivity at scale.
• Deep expertise in agentic coding tools and the AI-first SDLC, with enterprise-scale implementation.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle so AI is the default across requirements, design, code, test, deployment, and operations.
• Define and own reference workflows, standards, and patterns for AI-first product development; partner with Tech and Product teams.
• Evolve PDLC as AI tooling, models, and developer practices mature.
• Own the agentic development platform, including tools for requirements, testing, coding, AI-assisted review, and deployment.
