Vizient, Inc. seeks an Associate Principal, AI Optimization & Delivery - Solution Architecture to lead architectural design for AI initiatives and ensure cohesive integration with the enterprise. The role blends hands-on design with systems thinking to enable scalable, compliant AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive measurable delivery velocity, establish standards, and collaborate with security, data, product, and engineering teams across Vizient.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise software architecture and delivery experience.
• 2+ years delivering LLM orchestration and agentic systems in production.
• Strong systems-thinking and architectural decision-making.
• Experience with AI/ML platform infrastructure, CI/CD, observability.
• Experience in regulated data environments, HIPAA/PHI handling.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Security, Compliance, Data and Product.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical design authority for delivery pods and blueprints.
• Eliminate architectural ambiguity early to accelerate delivery and prevent debt.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to integrate the AI stack into Vizient's blueprint.
• Define deployment automation and governance via policy‑as‑code frameworks.
