Job summary

Vizient is seeking an Associate Principal, AI Optimization & Delivery – Solution Architecture to lead technical design for AI systems at enterprise scale. You will define standards for LLM-enabled workflows, agentic patterns, and a governed sandbox-to-production process.

The role blends hands-on design with systems thinking, ensuring regulatory, PHI/PII, and platform governance are embedded across engineering teams. This position seats you at the center of Vizient’s AI evolution.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise software architecture, AI/ML systems, and data architecture.
• Hands-on experience delivering LLM orchestration and agentic systems in production.
• Strong ability to evaluate frameworks, translate regulatory and business requirements into platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural standards for LLM-enabled workflows and agent templates.
• Define patterns for hybrid LLM and deterministic operations with secure, compliant design.
• Lead evaluation of AI technologies and document architectural rationale.
