Vizient, Inc. is seeking an Associate Principal, AI Optimization & Delivery – Solution Architecture to serve as the technical cornerstone for AI initiatives.

This role acts as the primary design authority, partnering across AI, Enterprise Architecture, and delivery pods to align governance and accelerate adoption of AI at scale. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years in enterprise software architecture, hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, and a proven ability to translate regulatory

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise software architecture or platform delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems and LLM orchestration.
• Strong systems-thinking and architectural decision skills.
• Experience with HIPAA/PHI/privacy in healthcare data preferred.
• Translate business requirements into secure platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural standards for LLM-enabled workflows and multi-agent orchestration.
• Architect initial platform component layer and reusable patterns.
• Lead data privacy and security boundaries for healthcare data.
• Partner with AI Operations and pilot teams to transition initiatives into governed environments.
• Present architecture decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
