Job summary

You will lead with design authority, mentor engineers, and influence senior leaders while maintaining alignment with healthcare data governance and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technology with hands-on AI/ML architecture experience.
• Expert-level command of model serving, multi-model orchestration, retrieval and evaluation on cloud platforms (AWS primary; GCP/Azure familiarity preferred).
• Ownership of AI reference architectures and paved-road patterns for model and agent development.
• Hands-on experience designing agentic systems — orchestration, tool/skill layers, and API/MCP integration.
• Strong grounding in responsible AI, model evaluation, and guardrail design.
• Track record of driving technical outcomes through influence as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI platform and reference designs — serving, orchestration, retrieval, and evaluation across AWS-primary and multicloud infra.
• Define agentic architecture with journey-scoped domain agents and a reusable skills layer.
• Set integration defaults (API-first) and paved-road patterns for scalable AI development.
• Embed guardrails and safety controls into the paved road for responsible‑AI by default.
• Define instrumentation to tie AI investment to measurable outcomes andROI signals.
• Contribute to architecture governance and evaluate emerging models and tooling.
