Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect at the Principal level in Atlanta to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI systems across data products and cloud platforms. You will lead cross-functional delivery teams and collaborate with clients to shape strategy, governance, and secure architectures for production-grade AI solutions.

The role requires deep GenAI experience, strong Python and cloud engineering skills, and a track record in enterprise consulting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience implementing ML/AI solutions in production.
• 3+ years of professional consulting or IT services, with proven ability to lead client-facing technical engagements.
• Strong Python and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale AI systems across data products, retrieval pipelines, model orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Design secure, scalable cloud-native and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud with modern AI platform services.
• Lead applied AI solution design across generative AI, agentic AI, multimodal AI, and knowledge assistants.
• Enable production GenAI and agentic AI adoption including tool calling, structured outputs, and workflow orchestration.
• Define AI evaluation, observability, and reliability patterns with automated evals and monitoring.
• Champion Responsible AI, governance, privacy, and bias mitigation.
• Evaluate emerging models and deployment patterns for enterprise readiness and cost.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams and support business development.
