Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI systems across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will lead cross-functional delivery teams and partner with clients to move AI solutions from experimentation to reliable operations.

This role requires 6+ years in ML/AI, 3+ years in consulting, deep GenAI patterns, and strong Python and cloud-native engineering skills. Onsite engagement in New Jersey with occasional client visits, not 100% remote.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience implementing ML/AI solutions in production.
• 3+ years of experience in professional consulting or IT services.
• Hands-on experience designing production AI systems that combine models, data, retrieval, orchestration, APIs, security controls, observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale AI systems across data products, model orchestration, and governance.
• Lead design across GenAI, agentic AI, multimodal AI, and knowledge management use cases.
• Champion responsible AI, security practices, and governance by design.
• Mentor cross-functional delivery teams and support business development via technical POVs.
