Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI systems across data products, model orchestration, and agentic workflows. You will lead cross-functional teams and partner with clients to shape strategy, governance, and secure architectures.

Responsibilities include enabling GenAI adoption, evaluating models, and delivering scalable, compliant AI solutions across enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience implementing ML/AI in production environments.
• 3+ years in professional consulting/IT services with client-facing engagements.
• Hands-on experience architecting production AI systems (data, retrieval, orchestration, APIs, security, observability).
• Deep understanding of GenAI patterns: RAG, embeddings, vector search, multimodal inputs.
• Experience with agentic AI architecture patterns (single/multi-agent workflows).
• Proficiency with modern AI engineering frameworks and tools (open-source & cloud-native).
• Strong programming skills in Python; API design, event-driven patterns, IaC, scalable services.

Responsabilités

• Architect enterprise-scale AI systems spanning data products to lifecycle management.
• Design secure, cloud-native/hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Lead AI solution design across generative, agentic, multimodal AI use cases.
• Enable production GenAI adoption with tool calling, memory patterns, orchestration.
• Define AI evaluation, observability, and reliability patterns (latency, cost, tracing).
• Champion Responsible AI, governance, privacy, bias mitigation, guardrails.
