EPAM Systems is seeking a Principal AI Infrastructure & Accelerator Architect for a remote role in the USA, New York region. You will define the architectural vision for AI training and inference, leading CoE efforts and shaping the technical roadmap across TPUs, GPUs, and compiler toolchains.

You will partner with ML researchers and framework teams to remove bottlenecks, scale a global practice, and drive production-grade AI infrastructure in a highly visible capacity.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 8+ years in distributed systems or AI infrastructure/HPC
• 7+ years designing large-scale software systems in C++ or Python
• 5+ years leading architecture and delivery of large-scale software products

Responsabilidades

• Define multi-year technical roadmap for high-performance AI kernels and co-design targeting TPU and GPU architectures
• Scale and mentor a world-class technical practice with governance and standards
• Act as principal technical liaison with ML researchers, core framework architects, and compiler teams to remove bottlenecks
• Architect enterprise benchmarking suites, autotuning frameworks, regression analysis pipelines, and documentation
• Track industry shifts in hardware architectures and compiler innovations to improve training and inference efficiency
• Collaborate on TPU/GPU execution optimization and ML framework integration (JAX, PyTorch)
