Compeer Financial is seeking a senior level information governance and compliance leader to own the organization's AI governance program and privacy, security, and information governance obligations. You will partner with technology, data, and legal counsel to define controls and drive regulatory posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or Juris Doctor preferred.
• Expert-level experience in compliance, information risk, privacy, security, or technology risk within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Experience developing or standing up a governance or compliance program for AI.
• Experience with agricultural finance or Farm Credit System (preferred).
• Certifications in AI governance or privacy/compliance preferred.
• Ability to operationalize obligations into requirements and controls.
• Strong collaboration with technology, security, and data teams.
• Integrity and discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Owns the obligation framework and compliance risk register for privacy, information security, and information governance; develops organization posture.
• Leads AI obligations governance, data-use, and fairness; builds the third-party AI risk assessment framework.
• Owns controls testing and monitoring across privacy, security, information governance, and AI; coordinates remediation with control owners.
• Partners with technology, information security, and data teams to translate regulatory changes into processes and controls.
• Maintains leadership visibility into domain compliance and risk for governance bodies and the board.
• Responds to examiner requests and drives findings to closure with counsel support.
