Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI systems across data products, retrieval, orchestration, and deployment. You will shape secure, cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud and lead solution design for generative, agentic, multimodal, and RAG use cases.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, drive responsible AI practices, and support business development while engaging with clients on complex AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production ML/AI experience.
• 3+ years in professional consulting or IT services.
• Hands-on production AI system design across data, retrieval, orchestration, APIs and security.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale AI systems spanning data products and deployment.
• Design secure, cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Lead AI solution design across generative, agentic, multimodal and RAG use cases.
• Enable production GenAI adoption with tooling, prompts, and memory patterns.
• Define evaluation, observability, and reliability patterns for AI systems.
• Champion Responsible AI and security governance practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI platforms and provide practical recommendations.
• Mentor cross-functional delivery teams and support business development.
• Coach junior consultants and foster practical AI adoption.
