Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI systems that span data products, model orchestration, agentic workflows, and secure governance across cloud platforms. You will drive strategy, architecture, and reliable operations for enterprise clients.

You will mentor data engineers, ML engineers, and software engineers while leading business development and capability development. Slalom offers growth, collaboration, and impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 9+ years delivering ML/AI in production environments.
• 5+ years in professional consulting or IT services.
• Experience designing and governing end-to-end enterprise AI systems.
• Deep GenAI knowledge: RAG, embeddings, vector search, multimodal inputs.
• Ability to define agentic AI architectures and workflows.
• Strong Python and software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for enterprise-scale AI systems across data products and orchestration.
• Define secure, cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Guide strategy and delivery for generative, agentic, and multimodal AI use cases.
• Lead adoption of GenAI, tool calls, outputs, memory patterns, and gates.
• Establish evaluation, observability, and governance standards for AI.
• Coach cross-functional teams and contribute to business development.
