Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI/ML Architect to design and deliver production-grade AI systems that span data products, model orchestration, and agentic workflows. You will lead enterprise AI strategy, governance, and delivery across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, partnering with clients to move solutions from experimentation to reliable business operations.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in ML/AI production systems
• Experience leading client-facing technical engagements
• Ability to govern end-to-end enterprise AI architectures
• Strong knowledge of GenAI, RAG, embeddings, and multimodal AI

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for enterprise-scale AI systems
• Define secure, scalable cloud-native architectures across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
• Guide GenAI strategy and delivery across multiple AI domains
• Lead production GenAI adoption including tool calling and structured outputs
• Establish AI evaluation, observability, and reliability standards
• Champion Responsible AI, governance, privacy, and security practices
• Evaluate emerging models and deployment patterns for fit and risk
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to ensure quality in complex programs
• Drive business development through client pitches and solution accelerators
• Develop senior practitioners and foster continuous learning in AI/ML practice
• Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing AI/ML team
