Job summary

Vantor in the United States is seeking an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to build tools for government and commercial customers. You will develop simulation capabilities for future space, airborne, and ISR systems, handling large datasets with aerospace-minded software practices.

This hands-on role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, on-site work, and collaboration with engineers and analysts to translate mission needs into reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years in software, modeling, or simulation.
• Experience with Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, or JavaScript.
• Willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools for aerospace modeling, simulation, and visualization.
• Enhance high-fidelity simulators for space, airborne, ISR sensor systems.
• Create modular architectures enabling new features and reusable workflows.
• Develop data pipelines for scenario generation, simulation, post-processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers to translate needs into software requirements.
• Improve simulator performance, usability, and automation.
• Perform debugging, verification, and QA of software tools and results.
• Apply modern software engineering practices and code reviews.
• Own independent software development tasks in multidisciplinary teams.
