Job summary

Vantor is seeking an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to develop tools for evaluating future space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems. You’ll build and enhance simulation tools, data processing workflows, and visualization capabilities for government and commercial customers.

This is a hands-on software role with an aerospace mindset, translating complex mission needs into reliable, maintainable software across fast-paced studies and long-term efforts. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with an active or current TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/SE/EE/Math/Physics).
• 5 years experience developing software, scripts, tools, or applications.
• Experience with Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools for aerospace modeling, simulation, mission analysis, and data visualization.
• Add features to high-fidelity simulators for space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems.
• Design modular architectures enabling new features and reusable workflows.
• Develop scripts, APIs, and data pipelines for scenario generation, simulation, post-processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and customers to translate mission needs into software requirements.
