The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. You will cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards, assist with inventory and pricing, and help provide an exceptional guest experience.

This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, safety, and a passion for quality. Availability includes weekends and holidays, with opportunities for growth within the store’s meat department.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items to assist guests with selections.
• Slice and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards.
• Monitor case temperatures and storage areas for safety and quality.
• Assist with inventory, pricing integrity, and department merchandising.
• Ensure department compliance with safety and food safety policies.
