The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut and trim meat and seafood according to our standards, while assisting with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other processes requiring strong attention to detail. Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items, assist guests in finding products and meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, cut and trim a variety of meat and seafood products to quality standards.
• Monitor temperature, case efficiency and storage areas to ensure freshness and quality.
• Follow safety and department procedures for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries.
